My wife and I hosted our wedding reception at The Weaving Shed and honestly cannot thank Hamish and the team enough. From start to finish, the experience was incredible. Hamish is amazing at what he does – I can’t imagine many venue owners being as accommodating and supportive as he was.
When we first viewed The Weaving Shed, Hamish took the time to ask about our plans, any specific requirements we had, and how we could bring those ideas to life. That initial visit made such a strong impression on us that we booked a date soon after.
One of the best parts of the planning process was being able to visit the venue as often as we needed (which was quite a few times!) to sort out details like decorations, seating arrangements, and where our caterers would set up. Hamish was always happy to help, offering suggestions and making the whole experience both easy and enjoyable.
When it came time to decorate, Hamish once again went above and beyond – even climbing up a ladder to help us hang drapes, among other things. At the same time, he gave us space when we needed it, which was greatly appreciated.
On the big day, the staff were phenomenal – friendly, professional, and attentive. It honestly made such a difference knowing we were in good hands and could fully relax and take it all in. Our guests were all really happy with the drinks selection and the service at the bar too – we got loads of compliments about how good the day was and so much of that was down to the staff.
Overall, we couldn’t recommend The Weaving Shed highly enough. It strikes the perfect balance between giving you the freedom to make your wedding uniquely yours, while also providing the support and guidance to bring it all together. The venue itself is stunning, and the space is just perfect for the celebration.
We chose The Weaving Shed as our wedding venue (ceremony and reception) and I am so glad we did. The venue is lovely – it’s a blank canvas to style as you want but with exposed beams and brick walls, handmade wooden tables and fairy lights which make a great starting point. There are different spaces to use for ceremony, meal and reception and it’s large enough to accommodate lots of guests. The team are all amazing – friendly and welcoming, they ensure your day runs smoothly. The central location is really useful as well. Our day here was memorable and we would definitely recommend the venue!
